start potty training right now, use bounty paper towls for wipes (just add water) or if you continue to use name brand wipes, wash them in the washing machine and presto you give them a second chance. Do not buy any clothes ask friends and neighbors for their kids old clothes or contact a nice local church for donations.
Don't buy any take out food. Look for soup recipes online they are the cheapest meals to make. Search frugal lifestyle and some great websites might come up. Also, don't buy any books or DVDs go to your local library. If you are not looking at the tv, turn it off.

We pay our power, phone and internet each week of $20. so when bill comes in their is either nothing to owe or very very little. so that way its a huge shock when you get the bill. so your not forkin out heaps of money to pay the bill. also, we put away 10% of wage before anything else into a saving account. so just say you get $300 weekly put aside straight away $30, and if you can do more go for it. It may think your not putting away enough but honestly, its something your saving isn't it. hope this helps

I'm a stay at home mom so I feel your financial pain! I save the most by watching the grocery budget. I do most of my shopping at Aldi's and when I HAVE to shop at Walmart (or elsewhere) I try to use coupons or store brands. The greatest thing I ever did for our budget was to work out all the finances on a week to week basis. I use my Yahoo calendar in my email to set it up and every Friday I check to see what's due with bills. I also have the grocery budget, diaper budget, gas budget, etc all listed week by week. I know EXACTLY how much I have available to spend so I don't overextend the budget. It also helps me see where I might have an extra $20 to pay on the credit cards from week to week and it really puts things into perspective. I also keep the monthly bill budget posted on the wall as a gentle reminder of how much we have available to spend.

clip coupons and don't be afraid to use store brand items. Most of them are made in the same factory as the name brand. Wal-mart's Parents choice is a wonderful brand and they carry almost all the same things as gerber, enfamil etc.
